About the Role
 
The Senior BI is a key leadership role within NetBet’s Business Intelligence function, responsible for ensuring the business uses trusted, well-governed data to make better strategic and day-to-day decisions. The role owns the end-to-end reporting and insight capability in Tableau, centralising data sources, defining standards, and delivering clear, actionable analysis for stakeholders across all departments.
 
Beyond delivery, the Senior BI acts as a hands-on lead and coach, setting a high bar for
quality, accuracy, and consistency. They mentor BI analysts, drive continuous improvement
in methods and skills, and ensure BI priorities remain aligned with NetBet’s commercial
goals, operational performance needs, and compliance requirements.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
 
  • Deliver monthly performance reports for all markets to support Country Managers in preparing their Operations meetings.
  • Develop yearly projections and targets in collaboration with senior management, providing a data-driven foundation for business planning.
  • Gather and validate data required for financial and regulatory reporting, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
  • Act as the BI point of contact for Finance and external auditors, supporting audit queries and participating in review meetings.
  • Analyse website activity and CRM campaigns to generate actionable insights for the CRM team and optimize customer engagement.
  • Design, maintain, and optimize dashboards in Tableau to visualize key business KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Monitor and report acquisition spending and performance across all marketing channels to assess ROI and improve efficiency.
  • Support fraud prevention and risk management teams by identifying unusual gameplay and transaction patterns.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and security are maintained across all BI processes and tools, by documenting BI processes, data definitions, and reporting methodologies to ensure audit readiness and continuity.
  • Manage and document change requests related to data, KPIs, and reporting logic in line with governance standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate recurring reports and streamline data flows.
  • Stay informed on BI trends and technologies to continuously improve the company’s data capabilities.

Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Manage and mentor BI specialists, conducting regular 1-to-1 meetings and providing guidance, feedback, and career development support.
  • Set and track clear KPIs and workload objectives for team members, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
  • Oversee project allocation and deadlines, ensuring efficient use of team resources.
  • Review and validate outputs produced by the team to guarantee accuracy, consistency, and actionable quality.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Must-have:
  • Advanced proficiency in Tableau (dashboard creation, data visualization, system
    maintenance).
  • Strong command of SQL and relational database structures.
  • Proven experience in data modelling, forecasting, and KPI tracking.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel, ETL tools, and large-scale data processing.
  • Understanding of data governance, privacy, and regulatory reporting requirements.
Nice-to-have:
  • Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis and automation.
  • Experience in iGaming or online entertainment analytics.
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, Power BI, or similar tools.
