What You’ll Do:

As the Social Media Executive you’ll support the planning, creation and execution of social media activity across multiple platforms and markets. Working closely with the Brand, Content, Design and Acquisition teams, this role will play a key part in driving brand awareness, engagement and community growth through high-quality, compliance and creative social media output.

You will have strong understanding of social platforms, a passion for sport and digital culture, excellent copywriting skills, and experience working with creative agencies and internal stakeholders in a fast-paced environment

Due to the nature of live sport and key global events, this role will occasionally require weekend work and out-of-hours support.

Social Media Strategy & Content Planning

  • Support the execution of NetBet’s global social media strategy across platforms including Instagram, X (Twitter), Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and emerging channels
  • Manage content scheduling and planning, ensuring consistent posting across all priority markets
  • Maintain and update social media content calendars aligned with sporting events, promotions and brand campaigns
  • Ensure all social content aligns with NetBet’s brand guidelines, tone of voice and regulatory requirements

Content Creation & Copywriting

  • Lead content ideation, developing engaging platform-first social media concepts
  • Write high-quality post copy, captions and CTAs tailored to different platforms and audiences
  • Adapt messaging for multiple markets while maintaining brand consistency
  • Ensure all content is compliant with local gambling advertising regulations and responsible gambling guidelines

Creative & Agency Management

  • Act as a key point of contact for creative and content agencies, briefing, managing and reviewing social assets
  • Provide clear creative briefs and feedback to ensure deliverables meet brand, performance and compliance standards
  • Coordinate timelines and deliverables to support campaign launches and key sporting moments

Internal Collaboration

  • Work closely with the internal design team, creating and monitoring design tasks to ensure timely delivery of social assets
  • Collaborate with Brand, CRM, Acquisition and Content teams to align social activity with wider marketing objectives
  • Support influencer, sponsorship and partnership activations through social amplification where required

Sporting & Cultural Awareness

  • Demonstrate strong global sporting knowledge, staying up to date with major leagues, tournaments and cultural moments
  • Identify opportunities to leverage live sporting events and trends in real-time social content
  • Monitor competitor activity and social trends to inform future content and strategy

Performance Tracking & Optimisation

  • Track and report on social media performance, including engagement, reach, follower growth and campaign results
  • Use insights and analytics to optimise content performance and inform future planning
  • Support testing of new formats, platforms and content approaches

Key Skills & Competencies:

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and content best practices
  • A strong understanding of sport and the wider sporting landscape is essential.
  • Excellent copywriting and caption-writing skills
  • Experience with content scheduling tools and social media management platforms
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Experience working with creative or content agencies
  • Solid understanding of the sports, betting and digital entertainment landscape
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data
  • High attention to detail, particularly around brand and regulatory compliance
  • Previous experience within the iGaming industry is preferred but not required.
