About the Role
We are looking for a commercially minded Senior Finance Analyst to join NetBet’s Finance team, supporting both FP&A activities and a range of high-impact strategic projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining financial analysis with hands-on project work. You will be part of the FP&A team, working closely with the Finance & Planning Controller and senior stakeholders, while also playing a key role in delivering group-wide initiatives such as entity redomiciliation, transfer pricing, and management reporting alignment. The Senior Finance Analyst reports to the Finance & Planning Controller and to the CFO.
 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Finance & Planning & Analysis

  • Support the Group’s budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes as part of the FP&A team
  • Deliver insightful financial analysis, including variance analysis, scenario modelling, and performance tracking
  • Contribute to the preparation of management reports and support senior stakeholders with data-driven insights
  • Assist in the development and continuous improvement of financial models and reporting tools

Projects & Strategic Finance

  • Lead and support key finance projects across the Group, including but not limited to:
    • Entity redomiciliation and related financial transitions;
    • Alignment and standardisation of management accounts across jurisdictions;
    • Transfer pricing implementation and ongoing monitoring.
  • Support broader strategic initiatives, including group structuring and optimisation projects

Process & Reporting Improvement

  • Drive improvements in financial reporting, data quality, and consistency across entities
  • Support automation and systems enhancement initiatives within Finance

Collaboration

  • Work closely with finance teams across Malta, the UK, and Romania to ensure alignment and delivery of group initiatives
  • Partner with FP&A, operational finance, and senior management to support decision-making

 

What You’ll Bring:

Technical Skills

  • ACA / ACCA / CPA qualified (or equivalent), ideally with a Big 4 background
  • Having at least 2 years of senior working experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical, financial modelling skills and advanced Excel skills
  • Experience in FP&A, transaction services, or similar analytical roles
  • Comfortable working across multiple projects and jurisdictions
  • Familiarity with automation tools, AI-based analytics, or financial modelling solutions is also advantageous.
